Mozambique’s government says about 20,000 of its citizens have fled South Africa because of the wave of attacks on foreigners in the past two weeks.
In South Africa, at least 50 people- from Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Somalia and Pakistan- have died and a further 25,000 have sought shelter because of the attacks. President Thabo Mbeki has urged the mobs to remember that for years South Africans were given refuge in the countries of those now being attacked.” …[BBC – HAVE YR SAY]
